I have to admit that a lot of my interest in my Xanga has dissipated since my music playlist doesn't work in Australia. Which means my journaling is mostly motivated by the urge to prove I have an awesome playlist. The part small part that isn't dedicated to random music is dedicated to celebrating Cute With Chris.
Or in this case, Chris Without Cute:
The hair... o.0
And the book! We all thought that was Chris' abuse-induced delusion! It's good to see a new Storyhour too, I'll be checking that out soon.
For an incomplete, needs-to-be-updated, utterly unorganized rendition of life in Australia thus far, see my Photobucket: http://photobucket.com/MichelleLuDeanNelson
I still need to upload all my Cairns and Brisbane pictures, and I'm not sure where I saved all my Sydney cityscape pictures on my computer...
I have too much homework.
30 Seconds To Mars is doing their first show in Texas on December 3rd. I'm hoping they wait until I'm back to do more shows, because I'm not coming back early unless they perform in my backyard. Naked.
The feature film for which I directed photography is premiering on Friday, I'm filming Flash Mob Austin's World's Largest Live Where's Waldo Search Party on Saturday, and I'm going to Hollywood for the recording of Thirty Seconds To Mars' new album on Sunday.
Frustrated student filmmaker is frustrated. Stupid hard work.
So... Right now it's looking like I'll be taking some summer classes in Dallasish, then going to Australia, then going to LA. I'll be getting a degree from UT, and spending less than half my college time here. I like Austin, but I also like traveling. Sounds like a good plan.
The weekend of the 24th, I'm either going to LA to participate in the recording of my favorite band's new album, or staying in Austin to go to my feature film's premier and participating in the World's Largest Where's Waldo Hunt, brought to you by Flash Mob Austin. Should be a good time, either way.
